At The Athenian House, Executive Chef Christoforos Peskias creates a menu inspired by his favorite cuisine, where sun, salt and mediterranean ingredients mingle into a combination of tastes and flavors. From his childhood roots in the Middle East, to his passion for Japanese and Asian cuisines, Peskias remains faithful to Greek tradition, as he seals The Athenian House dishes with his very own magical touch.
Pioneer wine maker Panos Zouboulis signs The Athenian House sophisticated wine and champagne list, along with a fine selection of Greek digestifs. The wine list proposes a wine tour from Cyclades to the Peloponnese and up to Northern Greece. Santorini vineyards represent few of the very rare and unique vines in the world which, due to the special nature of its soil, pumice stone and volcanic earth, remain unspoiled and intact from the phylloxera catastrophe of the 20th century.
Young talented & awarded mixologist Alexandros Gkikopoulos creates Athenian cocktails with exquisite local Greek spirits, such as Dry Mastiha, Ouzo & Tsipouro. Faithful to The Athenian House concept, his inspiration comes from the island's cosmopolitan nature, combined with a nostalgic touch of old Athens. His special Athenian Mohito is fresh, fruity and spiced with Chios' famous mastiha. The list is complemented by an exclusive selection of aged top quality spirits from around the world.
